Meet Hampton Veterinary Clinic's Staff

Dr. Chris Giummarra

Veterinarian (BVSc (Melb 2004) )

Chris graduated from Melbourne University in 2004 before undertaking a 3-year stint in a mixed animal practice in country Victoria. He has been at Hampton Veterinary Clinic since 2008 and took over ownership and management in 2019, fulfilling a long-term career goal.

Chris enjoys all the challenges of general practice, especially surgery and ultrasonography. He particularly loves caring for all the beloved 'fur babies' of local families.

He has a German Short-Haired Pointer named Koko 'Nessie' and a cat named "Chloe".

He enjoys playing tennis, watching football (go Dees!) and hanging out with his two school-age sons, Henry and Wesley. He loves a good coffee and is an unashamed Chocoholic.

Dr. Tanya Crowley

Veterinarian

Tanya has been a Veterinarian at Hampton Veterinary Hospital since 1996, having started as a new graduate from Melbourne University. She gets a profound sense of satisfaction from being a vet and helping animals, as she knows they are absolutely precious to their owners.

Tanya loves cooking, with her speciality being lasagne. She also enjoys reading and spending time with her two children, Adam and Hannah. Her idea of a perfect night is in front of the fireplace reading a good book with her 2 Staffies, Zara and Boris, by her side.

Dr. Nancy Britto

Veterinarian (DVM 2014)

Dr Nancy joined our team in late 2021 and quickly endeared herself to the staff and clients alike. She brings a wealth of experience both medically and surgically from her years in practice, and shows a kind and caring nature to all her patients.

Nancy has 2 of her own pets, Smidge the cat and Riley the dog, who were both 'picked up along the way'. She has a particular liking for canines of the 'wirey-haired' variety. Nancy is a bit of a foodie, who enjoys checking out restaurants and bars. She also loves travelling and working out.

Dr. Danny Jedwab

Veterinarian

** PLEASE NOTE - Danny is no longer consulting, he performs procedures as required **

Danny graduated from Murdoch University in 1983. He worked as a locum Veterinarian for a year before working in Hampton Vet Clinic. He became Practice Manager and eventually purchased the clinic, moving it to the current custom-built site of Hampton Veterinary Hospital in 1990. He wanted to have a practice which was run his way, providing excellent service and care to his clients. Since graduating, he has continued his education in advanced orthopaedics and continues to practice and innovate.

He has a Swiss Shepherd called Arlo and a German short-haired Pointer named Indie. Danny loves spending time with his young granddaughter Anna, playing trains with her. Danny loves teaching and sharing knowledge here at Hampton, but when not at work he enjoys flying remote-controlled model aircraft.

Dr. Sandra Pluzaric

Veterinarian (DVM (2011))

Sandra qualified as a Veterinarian in Croatia in 2011. She came to Australia to experience our way of life, learn English and to see how veterinary clinics operate here.

Sandra has recently returned from maternity leave after having a beautiful girl named Franka who is now 1 year old! She also has a beautiful 7-year-old German short short-haired Pointer named Duman who adores Franka endlessly.

On Sandra's days off you'll find her either running around at the beach or park with Franka, otherwise she'll be at home sleeping, getting her well deserved rest.
